big brothers

so far the boys have been so interested in finnick. well mostly bastien & embry. they are always always asking to hold him. and they always say stuff like "you look so cute baby finnick!" jasper will come up and kiss the baby's arm while i'm feeding him & he's nice to him, but doesn't act as interested, still in his own little world, like always. :)

i've also noticed a change in bastien's attitude about helping me. before the baby if i asked him to go get something for me or pick something up cause it was hard to bend over he'd get so annoyed. but now he is happy to go get me a diaper or a pillow. i hope it lasts! cause he's been such a good big brother to finnick. now if i could just get him to stop pestering the twins 24/7?

i think my favorite part about having a new baby is seeing the cute interaction between your other kids & the baby. i love seeing them love eachother... or even just like eachother for a minute!

steven can be pretty inventive with the toys he comes up for bastien. this neighbor girl had this thing that had water in it & pumped up water balloons without a hose. and so steven found an old fuel pump, cleaned it & made a battery thing for it to fill up water balloons or just with air! the only problem was it used up 3-9 volt batteries in a day. i guess it needs something stronger like a car battery.
