7 Random-or-not things about me...

1- I still draw like I did in first grade....Really, I havent gotten any better. I tried to draw a dog the other day and it looked like something Bastien could've drawn!

2- I am obsessed with the "Internet Movie Database" (imdb.com) I can seriously spend hours on there looking at which actors were in what movie and what movies theyre filming and so on. I must say... I am very educated in this subject. Although its not something to brag about and it's pretty useless information. I'm just glad I know i'm right when Sione and I have an argument about which actor was in a certain movie. By the way..my dad's "filmography" is on there...if you type in Vuna Fa it shows his work on Johnny Lingo...it made me feel famous for about a second. 3-I used to save all my empty lotion bottles...I think I started when I was like 12 cause one lotion I had reminded of me a time when I had a crush on this boy..then I just went crazy and started saving ALL of them, thinking I was saving memories in a bottle..they got pretty nasty smelling after a few years...I think I finally threw them away after I left home when I got married. 4-I am way too obsessed with"The Office" characters. Once I spent like 2 hours watching videos that people made on Youtube of Jim and Pam. I even dream about them...those are usually the only dreams I remember! Also I would rewatch the episode that was on that week on my dvr about 3 or 4 times ..until the next Thursday when a new one would be on...and be terribly upset when its a re-run! The Office is my favorite show..but I cant EVER remember any quotes from it when I am talking to someone about how funny it is...but I'm horrible with quotes from everything. 5-Steven and I created this weird languge when we first started dating....and we've been talking it ever since. I guess its not really a language...it's just a certain way we talk and there's alot of made up words in it...I'm sure it sounds really stupid to other people! I thought by now it would've wore off ..and I told myself I would stop talking like that when I had kids...I have a fear of my kids talking weird like it and not being able to stop it. I can always tell when someone is around Steven when I call him...cause he refusues to talk the language. We always know when one of us has forgiven the other cause we'll start talking the language. 6-I have a problem buying a shirt or a pair of jeans...and not wearing them, saying "Five more pounds and they'll look much better" I have quite a few items of clothing ..(even from before I had Bastien and was 20 pounds lighter) that still have their tags on them..its so dumb. I only wear like 5 shirts out of the 100 in my closet. Steven never buys me clothes because of this. 7- I LOVE watching movies (that i've seen a lot) with people who havent seen them. Nothing excites me more, its like Christmas. I practice this alot with my sister in law Becca who lives right next to us....I cant tell if she always likes it...but it just makes me so happy.

Double Fun!

Today I had my ultrasound and I finally got to see the twins for the first time. When I had my ultrasound in the ER in California they didnt let me see the screen in case something was wrong. But..it was so fun seeing TWO babies inside me! And I felt so relieved that they are healthy and had good heartbeats! She had a hard time getting them both in the picture ...but I also found out that different sacs and different placentas (which they have) ..doesnt necesarily mean fraternal. So they still could be identical . The ultrasound tech also said that the baby closest to the cervix is called "twin A" ..I love this picture...it looks like the baby is smiling and waving! Oh but my doctors office has the ultrasound room right there in the office, they dont send you out to get one , like my last OB. But even better, they take 3D pics for you! Here's one where they look like little gummy bears!

I hate spiders!

Last night Steven found a black widow on our front porch! This freaked me out to no end. He got a lighter and carborator cleaner and torched it..that probably wasnt the safest thing to do. But at least it killed it. I like living out here..kinda..But theres so many bugs out here... in the southernmost part of queen creek...I hate it! It scares me more with having a kid too ..you have all these scary thoughts of bugs like that crawling into your babies crib or something. Anyways..this is how exciting my life gets. I have nothing else to write about. Oh yeah..tommorrow I have an ultrasound. I am nervous for this one cause my doctor told me about that "vanishing twin" thing. Double babies..Double worry. Anyways...I'll just feel much better after I see theyre both ok!

Our Story

Steven and I met at stake youth conference when we were both 16. The theme was "Return to Cumorah" and we were in the same "tribe" family. I usually dont like guys right away , but he had this smile that seriously ....made me melt! (so cheesy, I know) When youth conference was over, I realized that we had first hour pretty close together and so some days..(the good days) we would walk together. I was so insanely shy.... I liked him soso much and he was always flirty but he never asked me out on a date! I eventually kinda just gave up on him and just decided he obviously didnt like me. (now he says he did like me then...he was just "too in love with his skateboard" to have time for girls....whatever) Well, in July...on a day that just happened to be a really bad day for me, he called out of the blue! I was so shocked! We made plans to do our seminary makeup together, and said he had to work that night but I should come visit him.

We went on a few dates that summer and we first kissed at Gisela! We didnt really start dating-dating until like the end of September 2000. Anyways, we've been together ever since. And we never were an "on again/off again" couple. Dating him was so much fun! And being married to him is even better. And having children with him is just the icing on the cake! I knew i'd have cute babies with him! :) But, We still have so much fun together ..even when life can get a little boring or financially hard. "He's my Lobster"! -Like in "Friends" when they talked about the lobsters spending the rest of their lives together "with the claws" ..I guess you have to see the episode. But theres's our story...I tried not to be so boring with too many details.
