I want

We're back from Utah. We were there for Kevin and Kendra's wedding in Alpine, if you didnt know. The wedding was awesome and it just made me realize even more how much I hate my camera. All my pics turned out dark, blury and with red eye. My sister in law Christine took a bunch and she's sending me a disc, so I'll post some pics from her camera when I get them. Also, Kendra was so awesome and had the photographer take pics of Bastien and the twins. they looked like they turned out cute. I cant wait to see them! The wedding was so beautiful. Her colors were green and brown. Steven was the best man and Bastien was the ring bearer. They got a tux for him! He was adorable in it. We had to bribe Bastien to walk down the isle. We told him he'd get a Thomas choo-choo. It worked luckily, because during rehearsal he wasnt having it. Becca, being the cool person that she is got us all hotel rooms at a Days inn in Lehi..so it was like one big hotel party, yeah! Actually I was pretty much stuck in my hotel room with napping/sleeping babies so I couldnt venture to other people's rooms. But, Andrea (Steven's youngest sis) was always in the room with us hanging out which was great cause she lives in Utah now and we miss her! Here's some decoration details from the reception that I was in love with.
The bridesmaid's heels! She found the exact green to go with the brown dresses and green sash. Kendra's bf Liz (the one in the pic) asked if I wanted them..and
I totally would've if I could pull off heels.
I've gotten to know Jen pretty well through Kendra. She went to school with Kendra and we'd all chat while she did my hair. Jen is so funny and very genuine. Love her!
When Bastien saw this, he said "Thomas is too big to go through the tunnel"
I wanted to take another pic with Bastien and Steven's grandma. This is the last time we were in Utah. Bastien was 5 and a half months.
Well, there's some of my trip...I will post some of Kevin and Kendra when I get some that do them justice. My camera really is terrible.

January babies

Embry, Soakai, and Jasper.
The cousins that were born this year.(Jan 5th, and Jan 28th) I hope they grow up close. Little Soakai is such a cutie! Sione and Britni said he weighs one pound less than Maizi (their almost 2 year old) He's such a solid boy. Where is the tongan in my boys?! (damn danish Langford genes..kidding..I love that they take after Steven)

Is it just me or do you see the resemblence between Embry and Dumbo? I was watching it the other day with Bastien and I kept thinking of Embry when i'd see him. I think it's the big eyes. (not the ears:)

Bastien's 3!

Bastien turned 3 yesterday and I was going through these pics to put on this post and I cant believe how much he has grown in 3 years! I dont want him to get bigger! Since 8:45 am on June 15. 2005, he's been nothing but a blessing in our lives. I love him so much!

just a few days old

5 months old when we went to Utah

6 months old
7 months old

8 months

9 months

13 months- the days when Bastien could soak his shirt with drool in less than 30 seconds

18 months old

almost 2

Three!

We let him open his presents in the morning after we all woke up. It doesnt take much to please a 3 year old on his bday..so I thought I'd save the more expensive presents for when he's older.

Bastien was so excited to see this after his nap. It was the "choo choo" cake he'd been requesting for quite some time.

Aunt Becca made Bastien some yummy enchiladas! Grandpa Langford and Kevin and Kendra also came!

Also, Happy 7th birthday to cousin Evan today!

The only time you forget it's bedtime...

... is when he is enthralled in a movie all the way through and doesnt make a peep. He was watching "Secret of the Nimh" Funny boy. He seems to always prefer the lower budget cartoons over disney ones. (i.e. "Caillou (what's up with him being bald and the whiniest kid ever?) "Oswald" (a cartoon about an octopus and a flower named daisy..very random) )

Oh wait-you guys are cute.

I love the cute positions babies sleep in! Jasper sleeps like a little froggy with his legs like that alot. (the ped in the hospital said that comes from being breech) And Embry has to have his arm across his face, usually covering his eyes.

Stay in your homes and die please...

We got our house sprayed today by my cousin Filipe. (He said he killed 3 black widows around the house, btw) My brother told me that I will probably seeing a few dead/alive spiders coming out of their home to die. Well tonight I went to make sure the sliding door was locked and as my hand started reaching for the door. I noticed something moving but it was blended in with the darkness outside. There is a freaking BW right by my hand. This sick thing was in my house. At least it is dead and not hiding in my window or wherever the heck he decided to make himself at home! I could not be creeped out anymore. I sit here typing not letting my feet touch the ground..sick. I'm so not looking forward to any more creatures coming out to die.

Bastiena

Bastien and Lana took a bath at my parents and I dressed Lana and was attempting to do her hair. (I need a little girl so I can practice!) And Bastien wanted a ponytail, too. So Ana turned him into a pretty little girl and took some pics!

Ana said this is where he said "I'm not a girl!"
I absolutely LOVE having boys and I'm glad I wont have to deal with as much drama. But, I so badly want a little girl to dress and doll up! Dont even ask me how many boys I will have just to get my girl!

a nice little phobia i've gained while living in the good ole QC

I've never encountered so many poisonous spiders in my life! Before moving to Queen Creek I had never seen a black widow, only daddy long legs and I was never scared of those. Besides an ambundance of BW's, there are the AZ version of the brown recluse. Oh dont worry, I probably kill about 4-5 of those in my house a week. Well today I reached my breaking point. Bastien plays on the back porch every day. And this morning he's all " Mommy a 'pider" After getting the bug spray, as I am about to walk out the sliding door. I see that the whole bottom part of the porch is full of webs, mostly in the corner, I figure its a brown spider or maybe a black widow. He is pointing to the corner so I just sprayed it and out crawl like, seriously 5 spiders! 2 black widows, 1 huge and one smaller. and the rest were those brown spiders!!!! The I lift up this screen door thing I had leaning against the wall and there are like 5 more brown spiders behind it! AHH! The hairs on my freshly shaven legs are starting to come through just thinking about this! Also, I'm sure the crazy weeds in our backyard are not helping any. Bastien wasnt even scared of them, even though I was freaking out! And he is one little scaredy cat of everything. He watches that cartoon "Miss Spider" so he probably thinks theyre nice, no matter how much I've ingrained into his brain that real spiders are mean and you should never touch them. I know I'm a little paranoid. Like what's the worst that could happen? You get bitten and have to have an antibiotic. But just the thought of that creepy thing crawling on my babies and biting them seriously stresses me out. My friend Deserea's son was bitten by those brown spiders on his leg and there was a huge area that was all red and welted looking and the skin felt hard, like it had died. And she said it was even worse looking after it happened. I do not want those things anywhere near my babies perfect little skin! We are getting the house and yard sprayed on Thursday. I hope it actually works. I guess it's good peace of mind, too. Can you tell by now that I'm a bit of an arachnaphobe?

Welcome to the jungle

Our backyard looks like the side of Ironwood road. Our weeds are out of control. Or should I say tumbleweeds, Becca told us that's what they have grown into. Bastien cant even venture out into the yard anymore! My dad would be so ashamed!(he's in the landscaping business) Steven says he wont cut them down unless we stay in this house (that wont be known until August-long story)Until then I get to enjoy the scraping noise they make against our bedroom window when the wind blows. Sorry neighbors if they blow your way this monsoon season.

This is the view from my bedroom window. I dont even want to know what kind of creepy things are living out there!

"you remind me of the babe...."

I had this brilliant idea for a picture but it didnt turn out so well. Doesnt Jasper look like the labryinth baby in his sleeper? It reminds me of the time Kevin held Bastien up when he was a baby and started bouncing him singing "Dance, magic, dance" It still makes me laugh. That movie still kinda freaks me out.
Embry's eye! ..poor boy had to be squashed in the middle.

Babies on the bed waiting for mommy to get ready for church.

Bastien just out of the shower-kept trying to flash the camera. I told him to cover that thing up!

My living room has become babyland!

I kept getting this white glare next to Jasper in all his pics and I told Steven that ghosts were in the pictures!! Then he told me my lens was just dirty.
