7 random things about me

This is an old post, I did this back in July...but Dendi tagged me and I'm too lazy to think of more random stuff! 1- I still draw like I did in first grade....Really, I havent gotten any better. I tried to draw a dog the other day and it looked like something Bastien could've drawn! 2- I am obsessed with the "Internet Movie Database" (imdb.com) I can seriously spend hours on there looking at which actors were in what movie and what movies theyre filming and so on. I must say... I am very educated in this subject. Although its not something to brag about and it's pretty useless information. I'm just glad I know i'm right when Sione and I have an argument about which actor was in a certain movie. By the way..my dad's "filmography" is on there...if you type in Vuna Fa it shows his work on Johnny Lingo...it made me feel famous for about a second. 3-I used to save all my empty lotion bottles...I think I started when I was like 12 cause one lotion I had reminded of me a time when I had a crush on this boy..then I just went crazy and started saving ALL of them, thinking I was saving memories in a bottle..they got pretty nasty smelling after a few years...I think I finally threw them away after I left home when I got married. 4-I am way too obsessed with"The Office" characters. Once I spent like 2 hours watching videos that people made on Youtube of Jim and Pam. I even dream about them...those are usually the only dreams I remember! Also I would rewatch the episode that was on that week on my dvr about 3 or 4 times ..until the next Thursday when a new one would be on...and be terribly upset when its a re-run! The Office is my favorite show..but I cant EVER remember any quotes from it when I am talking to someone about how funny it is...but I'm horrible with quotes from everything. 5-Steven and I created this weird languge when we first started dating....and we've been talking it ever since. I guess its not really a language...it's just a certain way we talk and there's alot of made up words in it...I'm sure it sounds really stupid to other people! I thought by now it would've wore off ..and I told myself I would stop talking like that when I had kids...I have a fear of my kids talking weird like it and not being able to stop it. I can always tell when someone is around Steven when I call him...cause he refusues to talk the language. We always know when one of us has forgiven the other cause we'll start talking the language. 6-I have a problem buying a shirt or a pair of jeans...and not wearing them, saying "Five more pounds and they'll look much better" I have quite a few items of clothing ..(even from before I had Bastien and was 20 pounds lighter) that still have their tags on them..its so dumb. I only wear like 5 shirts out of the 100 in my closet. Steven never buys me clothes because of this. 7- I LOVE watching movies (that i've seen a lot) with people who havent seen them. Nothing excites me more, its like Christmas. I practice this alot with my sister in law Becca who lives right next to us....I cant tell if she always likes it...but it just makes me so happy!

I'm so excited! I love Joshua Jackson! He'll be a great addition to the show! I read that he's coming the 11th episode...so thats like in 5 or 6 more. Anyways, I just thought all you Grey's Anatomy lovers would want to know that our beloved Pacey is coming to the show!

My berfday starts EARLY this year!

My birthday isnt til next next Monday (Nov 5th) ...not that i'm trying to hint anything...ha that reminds me of the comedian Jim Gaffigan's bit where he says .... "Don't you love the people who give you that birthday warning? 'Hey! Just wanted to let you know my birthday is next Tuesday!' Yeah great. 'Hey. Just wanted to let you know... I'm not getting you anything.'" Anways, back to my story...my bday's not for a week but next weekend Steven has like a million flights so he's gonna be really tired and busy (cause one's at 3am) But we were gonna go to Disneyland this weekend, but I cant really walk around that much anymore, or should I say "waddle" around. I barely did ok at schnepf farms yesterday without my tummy getting really tight and hurting. I definitely can feel the difference now between a single pregnancy and a twin one. There's alot more pressure in your belly..earlier. I could walk around big places just great at 25 weeks with Bastien. Anyways, I keep getting off the subject. We arent going to disneyland, we'll wait til Bastien can really remember it. But Steven told me he will take me bday shopping tommorrow! I'm sooo excited ! There's lotsa stuff I've been wanting for a while now! Also, my mom bought me this yesterday at Rustic hutch...isnt it so CUTE!? I picked out the board and they had stickers made out to put on it. I LOVE it! I cant wait to decorate for Christmas. I didnt get to last year, cause we moved Dec 28th and I was already stressed wit packing. And this year Bastien will get it and know what's going on. And hopefully the babies will come soon after Chrissmy! That would be the BEST present! I'll be 36 weeks around then and that would be a good time for them to come.

Schnepf Farms

We werent gonna go cause it was 14 dollars to get in, but we found out on Thursdays its half price for Queen Creek residents! It was so much fun. I'd never been before. The farm is HUGE! There was so much to do, and I have a million pictures to prove it. Bastien had so much fun, he woke up this morning talking about the farm, and the plane ride, and the choo-choo, which was of course his favorite part.

Bastien cant stop talking about pumpkins lately, or he calls them "pumpins". So, we took him to get one tonight. Kids really do make the holidays more fun..like when you were a kid!

Bastien kept coming up to Steven while he was studying and saying "wanna pway?" Then Steven would go play blocks with him for a while, and then sneak back to his studying....Then Bastien would casually come back over to Steven a few minutes later and say "Wanna pway?" They re-did this about 5 times...thats how I managed to have time to get my camera and get a picture. Bastien looked so cute in his new outfit and shoes for church..but of course, wouldnt pose for a picture. One of Steven's many creepy faces...."Easy, Lenny"

Did you breastfeed?no i didnt, but I more determined this time cause of the problems I had with Bastien and formula and also thats just too much formula to buy and too many bottles to clean for 2 babies! 18. If not, what kind of formula ?First he was on normal enfamil...couldnt handle that...then switched to Gentlease, didnt like that either, took him to the doctor and she put him on the most expensive one out there! Nutrimagen Enfamil....which he did sooo good with..it was like he was a different baby! Thank goodness for WIC. 19. Who keeps your baby the most?me 20. When do u wanna have another?after the twins I'll probably wait another 2 years and then want another one...I want them to be close together in age. 21. How did u pick the name?I liked the name Bastien forever. And his middle name Sitiveni is Steven in Tongan. I've always like the name River and I saw the name Embry from those Twilight books and fell in love with it. And the twins middle names are my dad and his twin brothers names. (Vuna and Tevita is David in Tongan) 22. How did u know when it was time to go to hospital?my water broke in Home Depot but it was a very slow leak and I wasnt even sure if that was my water breaking, even though it felt really weird. I was so hesitant of going to the hospital and just being sent home on false alarm cause my sister who had her baby 6 weeks before me experienced that like 3 times before it was the real thing...and I still had some fathers day shopping to do, so my mom and I went to Target and we ate lunch there, And I got up from my seat and it was wet! It was embarressing but I couldnt even feel it til I got up! 23. Who drove u there?my mom 24. Did u go home or somewhere else when u left the hosp.home! 25. Congrats to Steven!

Steven had his Instrument checkride today...and he passed! (of course!) But he's been working on his Instrument license for almost a year and he's finally done! He says he is so relieved and a big weight is lifted off his shoulders. Uhh..yeah, he's been studying like a crazy person lately and he hasnt spoken to me too much in the past 2 days cause he was so busy studying and stressed! He only has to get his commercial license and then CFI (instructors license) and both will only take a couple months! So he should be done with school very soon! Way to go Stevie!

Twin stuff

Since I have to get TWO carseats. I was thinking we'd just use Bastien's old carseat, which is still in good condition..except for the cover. I was thinking of making a cover , but the patterns at the material store dont have the canopy (sun cover) pattern with it, which is dumb cause you need those.

But I found this website that sells them and they're really cute! And I cant just get one now. So maybe i'll get an inexpensive evenflo carseat with those ugly covers ( I saw one at Walmart for 45 dollars), instead of paying a hundred dollars for a nice carseat. And then...I can get 2 of these cute covers! I found 2 different pairs of them that are so cute!

And I got a twin nursing pillow exactly like this one from Amazon.com ($56) ..But I got it for 12 dollars at good ole Once upon a child. (I am determined to nurse this time...who wants to buy all that formula?!)

We Miss you, Delma!

Today is my mother-in-law's bday..she passed away from a long battle with cancer on April 27, 2006. (a day after steven's bday) She was such a sweet lady and a great mother-in-law. It stinks that I actually REALLY liked my mother-in-law and didnt get that much time with her. But she always made me feel part of the family even when Steven and I were dating. She would always get so excited when we'd come over and when we were there, she would make lists of food to have when we came over! She was so cute..she acted like a little girl sometimes..(in a good way) She was childlike in a way where she was just so good, keeping the commandments and doing things you should just came so easy to her. Once we had Bastien..she couldnt get enough of him and towards the end her shoulder bone had disinegrated (sp?) and so she couldnt ever really hold Bastien..but she would just sit in her chair and stare and smile at him the whole time and ask lots of questions about what kinds of baby food he ate. She died before he got to the age where he couldve really bonded with her and Steven and I talk about how she would LOVE him at this stage!

She loved the Holidays, and this is the second year of holidays since she's been gone and its really sad without her, its not the same at all. It's hard for Steven this time of year because the holidays remind him of his mom alot. One thing that I really liked about Steven when we were dating (and married) was how good he was to his mom. He seriously NEVER argued with her, talked back or treated her bad. He was always,always so sweet to her. Well, I just wanted to write a few things about her cause it's her bday. She wouldve been 51. We'll never stop missing her, but at peace because she was in alot of pain at the end there and also we know we'll see her again! And she gets to see little

I found my Edward!!

(Well..Steven's my real life Edward:).. I mean for the books) But....Ok obviously I am a loser and have nothing to post about except for all things that have to do with the Twilight series. But I saw this guy on that new show "Gossip Girl" and he is..EDWARD! Henry Cavill would be good, but I still couldnt picture him as Edward..I couldnt picture him with Edward's personality..and always being protective and..angry alot (in Twilight, at least). This guy has the bronze hair already, too! That's all he needs is his gold topaz eyes..is is just me or is he the perfect Edward? I can finally have a specific person in my head while I'm reading that does him justice...(since I'm re-reading the books!..i'm a LOSer!)

I'm suprised it said he looks more like Steven only by 3%...I thought it would be more..I guess it's just the blonde hair and blue eyes that throw people off when they find out he's my kid!
