Christmas withdrawls

It's been great having Steven home almost all week because of the rain/holidays. I'm sad it has to end. But those annoying things that creep up on you every month (bills) need to be paid I guess...so it's back to normal life tommorrow.

This week has been very eventful to say the least. It was great seeing family last Saturday

(2 people in particular) at my aunts wedding party! And also after Tuesday, I will never look at running/jogging the same way again..I am officially inspired! Sorry I cant go into much detail about any of this..I guess you will have to wait until March- for an episode of that one tv show I've been talking about lately. :)

I think they like the big wheel more than Bastien does. Seriously, very annoying that Bastien's favorite toy was a 10 dollar Thomas train. We could've saved 60 bucks.

Steven gave Bastien a haircut last night. I really love his hair longer, but it was about time since he cut off a chunk of hair and we hadnt done anything about it for weeks. I think he looks so much older with short hair.

Embry started fullout walking on Christmas. He looks like a fat little t-rex when he does, cause he holds his arms in alot and is still a bit unsturdy.

I love it!

Jasper would not let his brother show him up too much because he took about 3 steps today!

Christmas eve baby!

I just wanted to give a BIrThDaY shout OUT to my sister Ana. Her bday was on Christmas eve...which I'm sure can be kind of a bummer sometimes with everyone wrapped up in Christmas plans with their families. I remember growing up though we always made Christmas eve all about her. We had a birthday dinner for her and hopefully she didnt feel too jipped!

Ana and I grew up sharing a room. She's 7 years older than me. So I always thought she and her friends were pretty cool. I remember liking everything she liked, like Kermit the Frog. Remember those Kermie Hillflipper shirts and those Kermit Calvin Klein underwear shirts ? I was also pretty good at bugging the crap out of her and tattling alot.

It's funny how 7 years is such a big difference during those ages like 10 and 17. But now Ana is more like a best friend and our ages dont matter. I remember when she had Grant.

(Who is almost 12!) He was the first grandkid and the cutest baby in the world to me! I used to cry when she had to go back to California. Then she had Christian who was and still is the funniest kid, he says some pretty priceless things. And Evan was the Love-iest little baby, and adorable with those brown curls. And such a little charmer with his lovey-ness. I love that Ana got to stay at our house alot and I got to see those babies grow up into handsome little boys! Even though I love being a mother,it would be fun to go back to the days where I was the aunt that spoiled her little boys! :) I'm so glad that Ana finally lives here in AZ and I get to see her almost every day! She is such a good aunt to my boys and it's so cute how Embry is so lovey to her all the time now (like Evan was to me!) And also how Bastien knows that Ana is a sucker for him and will do basically anything he asks! :)

And Jasper, who has major stranger anxiety to anyone who's not Steven or I. But he will go to her and not cry!

-She is so thoughtful, and is one of those people who will buy you those shoes you were eyeing at Target (True story!) and suprise you with them later. Also she is the most non-judgemental person I've ever known, I feel like I can tell her anything and not feel like she's judging me. She's a great listener, too..which I probably abuse, because I'm sure I talk her ear off alot of the time! You're an AwESOME Sister, I want to be more like you!

Hey what'd ya know? 2 of my favorite people on my Favorite tv show!

Some of you know and some dont, but my brother Sione and my cousin Filipe are going to be on the 7th season of Biggest Loser. It airs January 6th! I'm so crazy excited.."you dont even know!" (say it like Dane Cook)

No lie, they are 2 of my favorite people. That is probably the source of my excitement. Sione..because duh..he's my brother. And Lipe is defintely our family's closest cousin, he's one of those "cousin who shoulda been my brother" kinda cousins. I just wanted to write a few things about them to get you pumped for this season. I think they will definitely bring something new to Biggest Loser since they are umm...Freakin' Hilarious!! Oh, and they're the 1st Polynesians to be on the show!!

Sione-Baloney:

-he's probably the best impersonater there is. When he is imitating someone/something...it's spot on! That's why his stories are always funny. Whenever Steven tells me I imitated something good, I always say "Yeah, but Sione's the best at it" :)

-he loves to sing, and has a really good voice, too! He used to always want to sing duets when we were little which were usually the Les Mes song "A little fall of rain" or "Love is spoken here" :) We never had a kareoke machine growing up so now that my dad and brother Vuna have one, he could probably spend hours on it. Sione and Lipe actually did a way good version of "Sunday Morning" that my BIL LeRoy recorded!

-almost every one of my friends wanted to marry Sione at one point. -he's very determined, he always won the fight of what movie we were gonna watch after church every Sunday. It was always "Willy Wonka" or "Shipwrecked"

-speaking of the word "Won"..I say it like "WON" not "WUN" Steven always makes fun of me for saying Won like ...uh..the way its spelled. How do you say it?

-We were the last 2 kids at home for while before and after Sione's mission. "He says" I was the cause of him not being able to go to Hawaii his senior year with my parents because I put up a bigg fuss. I was 13 ok, and they were gonna all leave me on my BIrthday! I'm sorry I caused you your trip Sione:)!Anyways, we finally all got to go my senior year and I remember we would fight alot on the trip, then 2 seconds later we would be joking around and teasing my mom because she claimed that she brought banana bread to Hawaii (haha!) ..fun times.

-I loved that we got to work together at New Vision for almost a couple years. It was a call center and most the time we got to sit near eachother. I remember sometimes no one would hear my jokes, so Sione would repeat them (and of course say it funnier) and everyone would laugh. Steven does that to me, too sometimes.Remember, I am the source! jk. Also when Pop Breen sat next to us, they would make me laugh like crazy everyday. They came back from lunch and told me how some lady was mad at something they did driving and she was in front of them glaring at them in her rear view mirror. And then they started ripping up and biting their styrofoam cups and acting like crazy hooligans in front of her. I guess it's only funny if you can see Sione imitating what they were doing:) Oh and one time we were really late to work because we both started doing this colon cleanser the night before..he had to stop 2 times on the way. and yeah, it hit me at work when the whole office decided to go to the bathroom at the same time. So yeah, I had to explain for the craziness and next thing the whole office knows about "Our colon cleanser experience"

- Ok-off the subject, but about work...We used to sit by "Poopy soap" She was in the bathroom for 20 minutes 6 times a day..no joke! And when she came out she really smelled like PoOpy SoAP! I always snooped through her drawers when she was in the bathroom because poopy soap lady was such a mystery to me, since she spent most of her time in the bathroom, and also because she had a rather large, weird orbus of a caboose. She had the same candy in there for like a year.(In her file drawer, not her bum) I never ate it, because well her name was poopy soap!

-Ok so there could be alot more about Sione but this would be very long..here are some pics.

Sione was very proud of this picture during his fatter days..lol. He was really skinny, but I dont think he was very happy during this time of his life..This time he will be skinny and happy! :)

This was after Sione was married a while to Britni ! Lets face it..the happier you are ..the fatter you get! lol

FILIPE!

-anyone who knows Filipe, knows he is probably one of the funniest persons you'll ever meet! He has great timing and provides comic relief to any situation! The only story I can think of to tell you is one where I wasnt even there but it makes me laugh when I think about it. I cant remember who told me this one but my bro or sis said they were at a movie and it was packed and you know how sometimes someone who works there will ask people to scoot in to make seats for everyone?..well the worker said "C'mon now, the person next to you wont bite..." and then Lipe screams really loud.."AHHHH...she BIT me!!" and the whole theater was dying laughing.

- I LOVE how Lipe feels completely comfortable around our family! He comes to

all our family get togethers for bdays and blessings, etc. I love how when he came out to my house in Queen Creek to spray for bugs, he's never been there before, and he walked straight to the fridge and asked what there was to eat. (LUckily I had lefotvers from the day before!) But, I love that about him..there is never an akward moment with him...he's one of those people who puts you at ease immediately.

-In 7th grade at Mesa Jr. (He was in 9th at the time) He poked his head into my history class (during class!) and said something like "That's my cousin Salena, and you better not mess with her!" I dont remember being embarrased, I probably was.

These boys are the BeST! If you know what's good for you, you'll set your Tivo and watch this every week, cheering for them! :) They'll represent all the FAt Tongans out there!

I'm so excited for SeAsON 7! Team BLUE is gonna RoCK The Hizzle!

**Temple Lights**

Every year we visit the Mesa AZ Temple for the Christmas lights! It was fun getting everyone bundled up since that's a rare occasion here. They had some awesome nativity displays from all around the world inside the visitors center, too.

I think to myself "I'm glad he cant do that yet" as I see Embry struggling to climb a chair. I walk back in the kitchen a minute later and there he is!

That boy is a climbing fool! He's been climbing into and onto everything! I dont remember it being this early with Bastien?

Santa

We went to see Santa today! The twins were very worried with Santa, but I thought it still turned out cute. Bastien got shy right when it was time to see him, so that's why he's not in the picture. But he did end up talking to Santa and he asked him what he wanted for Christmas and he said a choo-choo. I'm pretty sure that's what he said last year, too.

My mom spent all afternoon trying to find this interview with Robert Pattinson that she saw where he talked about how this 7 year old girl asked Robert Pattinson to bite her.

Even my mom is drooling over Edward! Really though, who isnt these days?

Thanksgiving weekend

It wasnt long enough, but they never are! On Thanksgiving morning at 8:30am we went to Kevin and Kendra's house for breakfast, where Steven's family was meeting. We had lots of yummy food and watched Iron Man. Jasper was pretty tired from missing his a.m. nap and fell asleep in their lovesac. (I've never had kids that fall asleep just anywhere, so I had to take a pic)

We headed out to Maricopa where my sister Mary lives for Thanksgiving lunch at 1pm. We were missing a few people but the food and company was great! They even rented a superman bounce house, which Bastien was deathly afraid of at first because of the noise the fan was making (Sometimes he gets afraid of sounds) But after a couple hours of convincing, he ended up loving it! My brother Vuna brought his kareoke machine, which I got a little obsessed with at one point. (I blame that on my dad) Hopefully I didnt injure anyones ears too bad..ahh who cares it's only family.

Friday night Steven watched the kids while I saw Twilight with my mom.

I wonder what else is playing at the theater?

Thank goodness for handy husbands! When we were leaving the house we realized our deadbolt lock broke to where you cant lock it from the outside, and that's the only lock on the door. So he locked it from the inside, then locked the backdoor and hopped the fence. Oh and last week he fixed the clogged up garbage disposal (gross!) after I felt water on my feet at the sink, it was leaking like crazy under there! If he wasnt here or wasnt handy like he is, I wouldnt be able to use the kitchen sink or leave the house without leaving it unlocked!

The rest of the weekend we just kinda hung out..it was nice. We were supposed to put the Christmas tree up yesterday. But everyone was pretty tired after church, so I think we'll do it tonight.

The Bully

Embry knows how to push Jasper's buttons. Jasper is a bit on the whiny side sometimes. When he's in a whiny mood, just touching him the wrong way will set him off. Embry seems to see this as the perfect opportunity to suddenly tackle him or head butt him. I havent gotten a picture of that yet. But, Embry does it with this innocent little smile. I've never seen a sneaky little devil in disguise like him before.

He thinks it's funny when he pulls my hair and laughs when I tell him no.

Twilight at Midnight

I Absolutely LOVED IT!

I really loved Kristen Stewart as Bella. She was perfect. Edward was SO stinkin hot in some parts it killed me. Before the movie came out, I still couldnt picture him as Edward even though I thought he was cute enough. But when he walked into the cafeteria, it was over for me. He was SO dang HOT and Edwardy from then on! I wanted to watch it again right when it was over.

I can finally picture them as Edward and Bella. I think they both did great jobs and had really good chemistry together. I was expecting it not to be exactly like the book because no movie ever is. I think they followed the important parts and they actually quoted the book alot. I LOVED the Cullens, too. I actually wished there were more parts with them, but I know they will come in the other movies. I wasnt sure about Jasper until he relaxed a bit at the baseball game and was incredibly hot. Emmett is some pretty eye candy as well. I feel like I'm obsessed again, like how I felt when I first read the books ....(and got carried away and decided to name my children after the books) I'm even more excited to see it the 2nd time!(tonight) Because I know it's gonna be awesome and I'm also excited for Steven.
