Ward Campout
This is a little late but last weekend we went to the ward campout. I wanted to go cause it was being held at Camp Lomia. It was at the West camp..which i'd never been to before, but it was still fun. We brought a tent but I wanted to stay in a cabin because I knew it would be freezing...and oh it was. In the middle of the night Bastien jumped in to my bed and we shared the sleeping bag the rest of the night. It wasnt very comfortable..but camping never is I guess. We didnt really stay very long the next morning. I wanted to drive over to camp orchard and show Steven where all my girls camp memories were. He was suprisingly interested. His mom was our camp craft lady one year and I told him how my cousin told his mom (before Steven and I started dating) that I thought her son was cute. And she said "all my sons are handsome" in her little girl voice:) Steven was so cute cause he wanted to see the craft cabin and he went inside and walked around the empty cabin. I can tell he really misses his mom sometimes. EDIT* You know what..is a while after I wrote this I remembered that three years ago today Steven's mom died. Thats like straight outta the twilight zone yo!
Here are some pics from the trip, my mom was awesome and babysat the twins for a night so we could have fun with Bastien. Most of my family knows that Bastien can be a handful around other kids and is a feisty little thing. But he is awesome one on one. He turns into the sweetest talkative little boy. My sister Ana told me that Bastien was meant to be an only child. :) Bastien is such a fun little boy. I think his sweet side is the real Bastien and he's just a frustrated little 3 year old right now who wants to be big like his big cousins:) We had so much fun camping with Bastien! I could tell he was loving the alone time with Steven and I.

I wish we could've made it! Looks beautiful there- definately nice change of pace from the heat of the valley.
remember when we went camping and we couldnt even build a fire. A cabin would have been much nicer. Ha, that reminds me, remember when we rented that cabin. TO bad we werent into taking pics for blogs back then. Looks like you guys had some coldy fun.
Makes me wanna go camping. You know Bastien is looking SO big lately. He is getting the "little boy " look...he is too cute. As for your "babies"...they are so dang cute..SO BIG!
As for the cold weather...you are a trooper, I am NOT a fan of the cold. Id rather be sweating than cold...but then when Im sweating I say the opposite...whatever...looks like you guys had fun.

fun ...i will be going there soon .. "cabin mom" yikes.!!!!! i loved that little video...with the twins.!!!.....btw...grant should of been an only child too!!! i think it's an older child syndrome for me anyways ... plus he's 3 ...you're doing great salena...I LOVE ALL YOUR BOYS!!!
