I thought I'd take a belly picture before I get any fatter and my face gets even more swollen! I feel like I'm 6-7 months pregnant..and I'm not even 5 months! (I guess there's a reason though) I'm scared to know what my bellys gonna look like at 8 months!

Bastien's new way of saying NO

Now when Bastien says No ...he acts like he's thinking about it. He goes..."Hmmm....NO!" He says "Hmmm" alot now..like when I ask him what he wants to eat or what movie he wants to watch..He'll look at the movies and go..."Hmmm". It's really cute. He's actually starting to say sentences now, too. like we were in the car driving home and he's all "I wanna go home" It's so funny when you're kid starts talking and you hear their little voice. Anyways, just wanted to let all you Office lovers know that at Target ..they have a ton of dollar bins full of.... "The Office" characters and quotes on... magnets, mouse pads, notepads and I even got a mug that says "I love Jim"! Fun stuff!

Names for da babies....

So.... I've or "we've" decided on names for the twin boys...(Steven never has any suggestions, he just likes to veto the ones he doesnt like) I guess some of you might think I'm a little weird for the names I am choosing. Just cause theyre kinda different. But I am absolutely in love with the names...theres no changing my mind on these ones. I got crap from some people for the name Bastien...but I dont even care. Anyways, baby A...which is the one closest to my cervix I guess..and further down. Is... Embry. And Baby B ..which is the one closest to my ribs.. is River. ......Embry and River (ya I got Embry from "New Moon and Eclipse" :) I'm SO excited for you to come!

New Moon and Eclipse

Ok so thats all thats been going on in my life recently is...Edward and Bella. I've been posting way too many blogs about them...but I've succumbed to it..Im Obsessed!! Anyways, I got "New Moon" in the mail..finally on Saturday night when I checked the mailbox. I started reading Sunday night and I finished Monday afternoon. I already had "Eclipse" waiting for me..so I started that Monday night. But I've been trying to stretch out "Eclipse" as much as I can..because I really dont know what I'm going to do with myself until next fall when the 4th one comes out. Plus I've been going to bed way too late from reading this week and I am definitely feeling it. But I convinced Steven to let me start reading "Twilight" to him. He said he probably wouldnt read them on his own until he's done with school. And I cant wait that long to talk to him about the books..so I am reading him a couple chapters a night. Anyways..I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be done with "Eclipse" today ..I only have like 200 pages left. So I am trying to stall a little and enjoy it as much as I can!

Boys Boys Boys!!!

I'm following in the footsteps of my sister Ana ...cause I'm gonna be a mother of 3 boys! Crazy huh? Twin boys!! I'm actually really excited cause Bastien is the best and he's freaking adorable..so I'm sure my other 2 boys will be sososo cute! Yeah whatever, I'm sure I'll have a girl someday blah blah blah to all you girl lovers...j/k :) (you know i'm just jealous!:) ...but for now..bring on the boys!!!

My Twilight weekend.....

It's 1:30 in the morning and I finished "twilight". I went online to order "New Moon" for only 10 bucks and it should be coming on Wednesday! I went on a search today at Walmart, Fry's and Walgreens (the only stores near my house) to find "New Moon" but I could only find "Eclipse".

But I went on Stephenie Meyer's website and I guess they ARE making a "Twilight" movie! She had a list of all the actors that she envisioned playing all the characters..it was fun to look at ..she got them spot on, of course. http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/twilight_movie.html

The best was Edward....she thought the best actor for the part would be Henry Cavill, the son Albert on Count of Monte Cristo....which would actually be perfect!

not so good memories......

So I'm stealing Dendi's "Memory Lane Monday" ..cause I'm bored. So here it goes.... The summer of 2000, I was 16. And my family and I were in California ..I was there for my "Sound Celebration" tour...(we sang and danced at Disneyland ..lame-o!) which I tried to ditch as often as I could to hang out with my sister Ana's in-laws, the Wolfgramm's and my family. Well for the 4th of July the younger "Jett's" were singing at this park in Chino Hills. And they had a stage set up with a canopy and stuff. Well my brother Sione and I were standing in the audience and like for one of the songs they were asking people to come on the stage to dance. And theyre all "Sione , Salena..come up here" I really didnt want to ..cause I have no dancing skills whatsoever and I wasnt about to try in front of a hundred or so people. But Sione made me. Well, I was wearing this dress that went a little below my knees. But the stage wasnt that high so I figured I could just jump on it like everyone else who was wearing pants. Well.. I really wish I was wearing pants....because my fitted dress wouldnt allow the small jump. My leg I used to jump on the stage didnt make it on the stage and I fell flat on my stomache!! No I didnt fall on my butt..or my knee...I fell on my freaking stomache!!! ....so I was basically laying down on the stage in front of TOO many people. Well..I tried to play it cool, got up and tried to dance like nothing happened. But I was shaking so bad with embarresment that I wasnt even close to being on beat with the music and everyone dancing ..I was just like moving back and forth clapping like an idiot. It was seriously the longest few minutes of my life. What's even worse...is one of the older Wolfgramm sisters got it on tape! And they all watched it later..so everyone who didnt get to see it..which wasnt a whole lot of people ..got to see it..and I got to relive it again. It was wonderful.

Ok, so the only baby pictures I've seen of Steven are infant pictures and then the next age I've seen is like 4. So I've never gotten to see what Steven looked like at Bastien's age and what color hair he had then. Cause when he was 4 he already had light brown hair. But last night Steven's dad gave us a disc of a bunch of baby pics that Steven's grandma had. I was sooooo excited! Cause there were alot of Steven at Bastien's age! And he had crazy blonde hair at his age..Bastien's isnt even that blonde. Oh..and Steven had never even known what he looked like at this age! Anyways here are some cute ones....

My 2nd (almost) fainting experience....

Yesterday was my 4 month check up. It's always nice and reassuring to hear the heartbeats...especially when you dont feel them moving around so much. I think theyre just still small for me to feel it all the time. I just feel little "swishes" every now and then. The heart beats are at 142 and 143..I looked online and they say a girls heart rate is usually above 140..but since they are barely above 140, I guess they could be boys, too! But last visit they were both around 148. Well I am having a "level 2" ultrasound next week. I guess it's like a really high-tech kinda ultrasound that my doctor says he schedules for twins to make sure everything is okay. And he says it's really hard on normal ultrasounds sometimes to tell if they are boys or girls..cause theyre so cramped in there, I guess. So next Thursday I'll finally know what i'm having! I dont really care if they are boys or girls. I'm pretty positive they might be both of the same though cause they have such similar heart rates. Anyways, before I really start to bore you...I wanted to tell you my fun little experience at the doctors yesterday. I had some blood drawn at the end and I walked over to where I schedule my next appointment. All the sudden everything started spinning and then started to go dark. I put my head down on the counter and a the nurse saw me and hurried up and got me a chair. My doctor just happened to be in the hall and there were like 3 nurses in the hall. I felt so weird and embarressed..tears started coming. The doctor like walked me over to a room ...and he said sometimes during pregnancy it happens more cause your blood pressure is lower. It's never happened to me before ever from getting blood drawn. I've fainted before. But it was at my own house in the middle of the night ..which is a different story thats actually really funny. But I felt so dumb for crying ..I was like" I dont even know why i'm crying" but a nurse made made feel better and said "It's okay, you're pregnant and emotional". Dont you hate when you start crying and there's like too many people around to see you!

1. Where did you meet your husband? During spring break my sophmore year. At the Scott's old house, his best friend Mike Scott's parents were my "parents" for our youth stake conference. They were having a family meeting 2 days before youth conference. 2. What was the first thing you said to your husband? "Is this the Scott's?"- He was outside the front door fixing his skate shoe. 3. Where was your first date? Amc 24 on stapely and Fazoli's 4. Where was your first kiss?At Gisela...we went there with Sione, my sister Mary and her friends and it started thundering..so we got out of the water and were sitting behind this big rock talking for a while..and thats when he kissed me.

5. Did you have a long or short engagement? Well, he got home from his mission in November...and we got married the next July..we got engaged somewhere in the middle there...cuz we already knew we were gonna get married way before he left on his mission.

6. Where did you get engaged? we picked out rings from his uncle's business in Utah May 03 and so the only suprise was WHEN the ring was gonna come in the mail..and I called one day and his older brother answered the phone and totally ruined it! He's all "Guess what came in the mail today?"

7. Where were you married? Mesa AZ temple July 19th 2003

8. How did the reception go? Great..if anything went wrong I probably wouldnt have noticed. But my mom and family put alot of work into the reception.

9. How was the honeymoon? The plans were to go to Cancun..until I realized I'm not rich..so we ended up going to San Diego ..we just went to the zoo. and seaport village and stuff. It was fun..but hopefully our 2nd honeymoon can be Hawaii

So, Bastien is definitely hitting the terrible 2's...he's in a really naughty stage..where he doesnt listen to a thing I say. And theres no point spanking his leg cause he just laughs.

I used to put him in his crib (he has a crib tent..he cant climb out:) for time out ..and that really worked cause he hated that. But that's alot of lifting...and my doctor says i shouldnt lift him...which is impossible sometimes. So I tried the corner...."Go to the corner" And he gladly went and stuck his nose in the corner ..which suprised me...but he just started laughing in the corner! And thought it was so funny. So I guess at least I found something that works....kinda...not really. He thinks it's fun. Maybe If he keeps having to do it he wont.

Bastien has found a new love....the toilet! He doesnt tell me before he goes though, he tells me after...but everytime I change his diaper he has to go sit on the toilet...sometimes he pees in the toilet...mostly its on the floor.....ahhh..let the joys of potty training begin.

He takes toilet time very seriously.

Maizi's 1st bday!

Yesterday was my niece Maizi's first birthday at Peter Piper Pizza and I was determined to take pictures cause I always forget to, and then I am later bugging Ana for the pictures that she took...which by the way ..she is a pro at picture taking..she can get Bastien to pose for her...he is such a stinker for me. All the really good pictures I have of Bastien are ones that Ana took.

Firsts.....

1st grade teacher:I dont really remember much about her except that she gave me my first "pink slip" for writing on the tunnels at recess! First Crush: My friends brother Mikey....I had no hope. First Job: Tropical Smoothie, when it was inside "Gold's Gym" and no one went to it. First Airplane ride: coming home from my uncle's in Texas when I was 5. First car:my good ole VW '83 Rabbitt ...I loved it until I had to keep spending money on it, cause it wouldnt pass emissions..but it was the reason I know how to drive stick. First speeding ticket:I've never got a speeding ticket, but I got a ticket for going straight on a freeway exit onto a freeway entrance....I did it all the time to beat traffic to work and I finally got caught! First Date: I dont even remember my first date, but I remember my first with Steven....we went to see "the Kid" and Fazoli's after. First House: our townhome on Dobson and Broadway...i loved it, but it was just too small, with no storage space...plus we sold it at the right time, we made 26 grand out of it! Oh how i miss thAT MONEY... First Gray Hair: I have 2 that I've found and keep an eye on....I guess it's easier to find them with dark brown hair...or i'm just going gray really early!

January babies!

Yesterday I had my 2nd doctors appointment and he said that if things are going good, my c-section will be scheduled 3 weeks before my due date! He said twins usually develop faster, so they should be fine. I'm excited I get 3 weeks shaved off my pregnancy! Also he said that I was showing like I was 16-17 weeks along (I'm only 13 wks) , But thats cause of the 2 babies, of course! I knew I felt really fat in my belly! :) He also said I cant lift Bastien, which is really hard since he still sleeps in his crib. But my next ultrasound will be the one where I find out what they are! Well, thats about it for this insanely exciting blog...

When we give Bastien a bath...he runs around the house naked looking for a place to hide from us.....well the other day we kinda forgot about him cause he was so quiet after his bath...and I went to go check on him ..and he was sitting there naked, reading a book! I had to take a picture of him cause he's such a funny boy.....and plus he's just so dang cute naked!
